FAQs

Here are some commonly asked questions. Please feel free to drop us an email if you have any other questions.

Do you ship outside the UK?

We can ship to many countries worldwide with DHL Express. All shipping costs include insurance.

For exports outside the UK, no VAT is charged at the point of sale.

Your goods might be subject to local taxes and duties when they arrive in your chosen destination country.

Please research your countries import laws and import costs to avoid any surprises.

How do I order a guitar?

We will have a small amount of guitars a year available that you can order from the online store. These will be available for despatch with no build waiting time.

You can also send us an email to discuss a build just for you. I'm always happy to talk guitars, so feel free to get in touch with any questions.

The standard order procedure is once we have finalised the specifications and price quote, you and I will both sign off the order and allocate a build slot.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your order and your materials. The final balance is to be paid either before or upon completion of the instrument and prior to despatch of the instrument.

How long is your order book?

This varies depending on the specifications of the instrument and if any custom options are included. We are lucky to be consistently busy so

we aim to deliver a standard specification guitar in approximately 8 - 12 months. And a custom order in approximately 18-24 months.

Do you offer guitar repairs or setups?

We are always happy to service or set up your Seth Baccus Guitar. We are unable to take on general guitar repairs for other brands.

If you would like a quote for any servicing or setting up of your Seth Baccus Guitar, please feel free to get in contact with us.

We can even help organise the shipping to and from the workshop if you need it.

Can I order a completely custom guitar?

I can offer many custom options on my models, but I do not offer custom body shapes or copies of any other instruments.

I'm happy to work on custom finishes, custom inlays, custom control layouts, custom hardware options, and many more ways to personalise your instrument for you.

If you are an established artist looking to collaborate on a new guitar project, please get in touch to see what's possible.

Where is my order?

For Guitars - Once your order has been despatched, you will receive tracking information from DHL Express, where you will be able to follow your delivery. This will work for international deliveries also.

For Merchandise and Accessories - These will be sent either UK Royal Mail or DHL Express, depending on the size and weight. The details will be confirmed with you prior to despatch.

What finishes do you offer?

We can offer a wide variety of finishes and lacquer types. Most commonly, you will see our guitars finished in a vintage formula nitro cellulose lacquer. These nitro finishes are available either aged or non-aged. We also offer high gloss modern style polyurethane or polyester finishes for a long-lasting dipped in glass look.

Satin finishes are also available in most of our standard colours.

We can also offer custom colour mixing, sparkles, holographic flakes and many more custom options. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any finish questions.
